The Power of Great Design

Good design is one of the strongest and most powerful forces in our lives.  Its influence transcends aesthetics to enhance mood, environment, emotions and actions. The philosophy ‘Form Follows Function’ is associated with the late 19th and early 20 centuries, stating that a building or object should primarily relate to its intended function or purpose. Architect Frank Lloyd Wright believed that form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union.  

When this happens, we realise that good design can elevate an ordinary everyday task into something that increases our enjoyment on both conscious and subconscious levels, where an idea has the potential to permanently change the way we live and the way we do something, transforming our interactions from average to exceptional.
